General Plastic Surgery

As a surgical specialty devoted to the reconstruction of facial and body defects due to birth conditions, trauma, burns, and illness, plastic surgery is characterized. Plastic surgery is intended to correct the body's dysfunctional areas and is reconstructive in nature, by design. Although several plastic surgeons chose to complete additional training and even perform cosmetic surgery, reconstructive plastic surgery remains the cornerstone of their surgical training.
